A sumptuous headboard by Oman based Stockist – Sununu Muscat

Sununu Muscat in Oman transformed this dark laminate shelving headboard into a radiant centre piece.

Inspired by the gorgeous painting above by Al Ghalya Mahrooqi they used Annie Sloan’s Gold Size, Gold leaf, Old White Chalk Paint™, Clear Wax and Dark Wax. The metal leaf adds a sumptuous reflection and light to the room. We absolutely love the final outcome! Those cute cats look pretty happy with the end result too!

Pots and cans by Dubai based Stockist Artistique

We always love seeing what crafty Dubai based Stockist Artistique can create with their paper mache and decoupage skills.

They have made their very own paper mache pots which look like weathered antiques after painting them with Paris Grey Chalk Paint™ and finishing them with Clear and Dark wax. You can hardly tell they are made of paper!

We also love these tin buckets that have been painted with Chalk Paint™ and finished with Annie Sloan’s Decoupage glue and varnish.

Artistique run all sorts of great workshops so if you are interested in finding out exactly how these were made, make sure you contact them!
